SDA Update #1
We are thrilled to announce the four latest members of the Stratis Decentralized Accelerator (SDA) programme; Opdex, Kiqqi Games, Red Ego Games and FileProtected. These new members have all passed voting and will benefit from the SDA pool (currently over $10,000,000 remaining) to help incubate and fund projects through their initial development phase.
The SDA enables projects to obtain funding for their developments that utilize Stratis Blockchain Technologies. Stratis’ unique approach leverages its InterFlux Decentralized Governance Board (IDGB) to approve and grant funding to those who put forward proposals.
Opdex
As the first decentralized exchange protocols in the Stratis ecosystem, Opdex allow for trustless token swaps, liquidity provision, mining, and staking in a non-custodial and gas efficient manner. Opdex has been operating a private development environment and is gearing up for Testnet deployment, which will run exclusively for a minimum of two months. Following this, it will be open to the public for testing and review before the protocol smart contracts will be posted for Mainnet whitelisting through a vote of InterFlux Masternodes.
The core and governance protocols are publicly available for review here:

Trivia Legends — powered by the Stratis blockchain — sees players compete in knowledge-based battles through various modes, events and seasons. FileProtected
FileProtected provides an instant and automatic content registration service. Featuring blockchain, timestamps and digital fingerprints, FileProtected makes copyright ownership provenance and authenticity indisputable. As part of our SDA programme, FileProtected is exploring how it can integrate our blockchain with its existing features and work with other companies in our ecosystem. Looking to the future, FileProtected is in talks to leverage our Stratis Identity solution and Smart Contracts, so watch this space.
Recently, FileProtected has rebooted its planned “Instagram Only” edition and launch strategy, which has been on hold since the SDA vote. The Instagram campaign will highlight FileProtected’s automated features on the social media platform. Following recent positive feedback, the team are confident that the simplicity of automatically registering Instagram posts and user’s existing posts will be a big attraction and a compelling incentive to sign up. The more registrations a user generates, the less chance of a churn.
The team has also added a new QR code feature. When a user registers content, FileProtected generates a QR code embedded into the image. This means — that in a few clicks — wherever the image is seen online or offline, users can instantly launch the Creative ID, review ownership and attribution. Any viewer can make an informed inquiry based on the information, authenticate the work buy, or license the image.
Users can now monetize content on Instagram, Facebook or any other platform they share their work. Most social networks strip out any IP metadata added by the owner; however, they cannot strip out a QR code. Another benefit of the QR code feature is that when URL links are stripped out to prevent users from paying for advertising, FileProtected’s QR code circumvents this, turning an Instagram post or wherever an image is viewed into a call to action and sales opportunity. As FileProtected is already fully integrated with Google search, the addition of the QR code also adds benefits with an instant direct link to the Creative ID/IP owner.
